Services for students in kindergarten through fifth grade

 

Special education services including but not limited to:

• letter and number identification

• decoding strategies

• reading comprehension

•  writing and math support

Students are met at their educational level, and can benefit from support with filling educational gaps as well as advancing to the next level academically. Individualized Education Plans (IEP’s), goals, and present levels can be reviewed to gain a better understanding of the student’s needs.​

Services for students in sixth through twelfth grades

 

Special educational services are provided with common core based practices. Students are able to seek support at their present levels. MAP, and PARCC data will be used to assist with identifying needs and educational goals. IEP goals and present levels can also be reviewed to gain a better understanding of the student. Services are provided in the areas of:

• Reading comprehension

• Reading foundation 

• Writing

• Common core math 6-8

• Algebra-1

• Geometry
